mama’s must-haves: your gift guide to mother’s day

It’s that time of year again: May brings flowers, record heat in Arizona, and Mother’s Day.

In this post, I’m highlighting some of the most important women in my life, along with gift ideas for these unique women. Even better, I’ve selected all women - owned businesses (and lululemon, because of course!).

Please share with your friends (especially men) and let me know how this helped!

how to make stress your friend

“Are you tired, rundown, listless? Do you poop out at parties?” is one of my favorite I Love Lucy quotes, and one that has been running around in my head at night when I try to sleep.

If you keep up with the blog and instagram, you may be sensing that sleep is a recurring theme this week. Part of it is selfish (I need the reminders as much as anyone) and part of it is because I know that sleep is one of the main factors both vital to stress resilience and difficult to get when stress is high.

In today’s post, I’m sharing three strategies to cultivate stress resilience and reminding you to enter my giveaway for one lucky winner to receive my 30 Days of Mindful Movement course.

As always, thank you for stopping by! I appreciate each and every read, share, comment, and every way you show support.

now you see me, now you don’t…CAMO!

I’m trying to contain my excitement, but I just can’t.

lululemon released a bunch of camo, and it’s glorious!! I counted 111 different items in various shades of camouflage (oh yes: black, grey, OG green, white, blue, red, pink…..a camouflage rainbow).

I’ve linked all items through the button below, and am highlighting my favorites in this post! It was hard to pick my top 10, but I did it!

Also….you may know I’m an ambassador for lululemon for many reasons. What I love most about the company is that they are paying their employees full salaries, guaranteed, through JUNE. This is incredible. If you are in a position to make any purchases now, please support a company that cares about its people.

I want to hear about your favorites here!!

must-haves for 30 days of mindful movement

This is no April Fools joke…I’ve brought all of my favorite things together to help you settle in at home (because at least in AZ, we will home a lot).

In all seriousness, it’s been difficult to write about cute clothes, self care faves, and my usual blog content with COVID19 wreaking havoc on our world. I realize that I —and so many others— do need a break from reality here and there. And so, I will be continuing my blog as usual and continue to give mindfulness tips, exercises, as well as lululemon content.

Thank you so much for being here; stay safe, stay home, stay connected, and wash your hands!

homebound editions

My heart goes out to every person affected by covid19 around the world.

We are each asked to make sacrifices for the greater good: Some place themselves in harm’s way daily to help others. Many have or will spend weeks in isolation or quarantine. Some will be stranded in foreign countries, or forced to change travel plans. Parents find themselves suddenly homeschooling children, while trying to navigate these stressful times. Countless businesses will close — some will close permanently.

I feel I must acknowledge these challenges because as humans we all face the same fears, loss, uncertainty, stressors, and grief. Even though our circumstances are unique, this human experience can bring us together.

This blog post is meant to assist those who are suddenly working from home. My tips can also assist anyone who wants to make their space feel more safe, familiar, or stable.

I’m sending extra love to all of you today and every day.

xo,

Mallory

everlux fit + sweat sesh!

If I had to pick ONE thing I love most about lululemon’s culture, it would be the emphasis on bringing people together.

Sunday I got to attend a fit session for the new everlux tights with my fellow female ambassadors and their friends. We enjoyed mimosas + parfaits while learning about the science of feel, fit, and function of each tight. It was glorious!

Then we were gifted a tight of our choice and were led through a restorative session with Dr Jordan of RTS Physio.

I left feeling great physically, mentally, emotionally— and did I mention my pants felt fresh even after a workout??

Today’s blog is extra fun because I have special guests offering their reviews of the tights we tried. I am so grateful they were brave + up for sharing their experience!

travel tips

If you live life on the go, chances are you have routines that help you thrive in the crazy-world we live in.

I used to fly by the seat of my pants for travel — and I essentially lived out of my car while working 60 hours a week to put myself through school.

These days, my brain needs structure for my day-to-day. That’s why I’ve curated my favorite things for self-care, comfort, and ease. Even better, they’re all perfect for travel.

I hate to be selfish, so I’m sharing them with you! Hope you enjoy.
