When I started lemonLOVES, I planned to do a lot of FIT reviews. Between covid, racial injustice, and my own journey with post concussion syndrome, I have gotten off track with FIT reviews. Now I intend to keep on with them, as long as people find them useful, and cover current events as needed while I continue my anti-racist journey.

We’ve had record heat in Phoenix this week (yes, again…), so I have been wearing a LOT of shorts. This is unusual for me, because I struggle with finding the right fit, look, and feel with shorts. I’ve always had large thighs and hips and am very picky about shorts. The hotty hot short by lululemon is the main short I have in my closet!!
In these photos, I’m wearing the hotty hot *mesh short in Carnation Red with a 4” inseam (also known as their Tall or Long version from the 2.5” staple). This short also has a High Rise (noted on the label as HR, vs the regular rise of the standard short).
