2021 vibes: well + being
I don’t know about you, but I’ve spent most of my Januaries “tired and going” rather than “well and being.”
This year, I’m choosing change.
So often I put pressure on myself to “start fresh” on the first of the year. Sometimes this works well; last January First I started this blog! But most years (and for 95% of the clients I have worked with) drastic changes do not result in long-term change.
Following a challenging year for the world (and two and a half challenging years for me personally), I’m ready to treat today, January First, as exactly what it is: just another ordinary day.
My mantra for 2021: well + being
I kicked off this blog with “be kind to your body” as my intention for my content in 2020. Little did I know how much opportunity I would have to practice this in such a challenging year!
I believe that 2021 will bring a lot of opportunities to practice “well and being,” too.
So much, that I decided to name my January challenge after this year’s mantra.

Choose a word (or two) that you’d like to live into this year.
Examples: this year mine are “well” and “being.” Last year it was “body kindness.” Yours may be “health,” “rest,” “me time” or anything you choose!
The challenge: everything you need to know
Six days a week in January, I’ll publish a one-minute video exercise focused on mind, body, or soul.
On Fridays, I’ll publish a bonus interview with a well-being expert to fuel your thoughts and learn about other aspects of wellness.
To make the challenge accessible, I’ll be posting to this blog, my Instagram, YouTube, and via text for those who signed up.
The prizes
Consistency is key, so I’m offering weekly prizes for those most consistent, along with three grand prizes at the end of January!
There are a few ways I can track this, and to be fair to all participants I’m offering the following scale for the grand prizes only (I’ll announce the weekly giveaway entries as we go—first one is below):
