Meet The Good Patch
TGIF, because I love sharing new finds with you!
When I started lemonLOVES blog, I knew I wanted to share people and things I love with all of you. I had no idea that I would find so many great brands out there making wellness more accessible, affordable, and reliable.
Weird fun fact: every day I am contacted by brands offering me their product for free in exchange for a blog review or Instagram post. While I am so grateful to be approached, I turn down ~90% of the offers I receive.
Why?
Because I only want to review products/services that are in alignment with my core values.
When I recommend something to you, I want you to know that:
I personally use it.
I have researched ingredients/claims/fit/function.
I find value and have/would purchase for myself (or friend, family, client).
I add a written disclosure when I profit from your purchase.
Often when I find a brand that resonates with me, I arrange for a discount for my followers (aka, make it more accessible to more people!).
I am fortunate that the partnerships with brands I align with allow me to offer free mindfulness, movement, and wellbeing tools online for free to my followers and readers. While I love blogging, the costs of a web platform (web domain, hosting, email server, storage, automation, editing apps, etc!) would be prohibitive without support from brands I trust.
Last thing: I also recommend many brands/products/services that don’t gift me their products or pay me a dime to recommend them! These are brands whose products or services I have found on my own, love, and recommend. I recommend these brands because I believe in supporting small business and sharing great people doing great things. While I may approach them eventually for a discount for my readers, I am hyper aware of the costs of running a small business and don’t feel comfortable asking for discounts.
As I am in my first year of blogging/influencing I wanted to be really clear on the who/what/when/where/why/how of my product recommendations.
Thank you for being here and allowing me to share what I LOVE!
Meet the good patch
Today, I get to introduce a wellness brand that has been supporting my wellbeing over the past months.
The Good Patch is a plant-based wellness company with a variety of plant-based patches, containing vitamins like B12 to support energy and supplements like melatonin to support sleep.
The Good Patch also offer hemp-based patches (with zero THC) to support feelings of calm, wellbeing, and pain relief.
I’ve gotten to try their Starter Set (containing B12 Awake, Dream, Be Calm, Hangover, and Nite Nite) and am going to share my experiences with my favorites: Be Calm and B12 Awake!
Hint: read all the way through for a discount!
B12 awake review
The top-selling B12 Awake patch is perfect for those looking for a morning coffee substitute, mid-day boost, or a long day of travel. Sustained energy, without the crash.
The B12 Awake Patch contains:
• Caffeine (15 mg)
• Vitamin B12 (1 mg)
• Green Tea (1 mg)
• Plant-Based (non hemp)
• 4 Patches = 1 Pack
I can’t have much caffeine since my brain injury, so I’ve loved the B12 Awake patch for a little boost without feeling the jitters or having my tremor flare up.
How to use it:
Pick a spot that is going to remain dry. I like to do the inside of my wrist, above my watch so that it doesn’t get wet when I wash my hands. Peel the backing off the patch and stick one patch for up to 12 hrs. All done? Simply peel the patch off.
Be calm patch review
Great for self-care days when you need to unwind and decompress, and equally as great for days when feeling frazzled and stressed.
I first used this patch when I didn’t have to go anywhere or do anything, to see how I would react, and the second time I used this patch was on a fairly stressful day when I had a migraine and was feeling anxious about upcoming doctors appointments.
I had a great experience both times and felt immeasurably more calm. My headache also eased from a seven to a four.
It’s important to me that my CBD/hemp products don’t contain THC (non psychoactive). While THC has health benefits, since Brian is in the military we can’t have THC in the house.
The Be Calm Patch contains:
• Hemp (15 mg) third party tested for zero THC
• Menthol (1.8%)
• 1 Patch = 1 Pack
